When Derek pressures Sera to sign away her marriage for the woman he loves, her heart breaks in an instant. A proposal from her support group friend Damian gives her a new path forward. Together, they get the divorce done, and Sera leaves for Paris to rebuild herself from the ground up. Later, in New York, Damian publicly calls Sera his wife, delivering a crushing blow to Derek.
